STEP-BY-STEP LIGHTBOX INSTRUCTIONS

Whether you use drag and drop lightboxes or prefer using the lightbox manager, it's easy to organize photos and share them with others.

Using Drag and Drop Lightboxes:

Using the Lightbox Manager:

To use the Lightbox Manager, click on "Lightboxes" in the top navigation are of our site. 

USING DRAG AND DROP LIGHTBOXES

ADDING IMAGES WITH DRAG AND DROP  back to top

1. Click and hold on the image

2. Drag the image down into the lighbox pane (Drag slowly for best
    performance)

3. Once in lightbox pane drop the image and release

REMOVING IMAGES FROM THE LIGHTBOX PANE  back to top

Click on to the bottom right of the image in the lightbox pane.

MANAGING/CHANGING LIGHTBOXES  back to top

On the left of the lightbox pane use the bottom dropdown box to access the tools you will need to manage your lightboxes.



On the left of the lightbox pane use the top dropdown box to move from one lightbox to another.

You can expand or collapse the lightbox pane by clicking the (-) or (+) icon on the top right of the lightbox pane.

1. Click on "My Account" in the top navigation of the site.

2. Click on the "User Preferences" link.

3. Find the area that says "Image Browsing Preferences" and scroll
    down to "Avoid having to set Lightbox DragDrop each time you
    visit." Choose the "OFF" option where it says "Show Lightbox
    DragDrop Frame." 

USING THE  LIGHTBOX MANAGER

CREATING A LIGHTBOX  back to top

1. Within the Lightbox Manager, click Create New Lightbox.

2. You will be prompted to enter a name for your lightbox. Name
    your lightbox, and then click the Create Lightbox button.

3. Once created, that lightbox will become your active lightbox,
    which means that any images you choose to add to a lightbox
    will be added to this one.

    Please note: you'll be provided with three lightboxes to start,
    but you may create as many as you'd like!

 Adding images to a lightbox
To add an image to a lightbox, simply click on the lightbox  icon (shown above) underneath the thumbnail of the image you're interested in.
   
   Removing images from a lightbox
To remove images from your lightbox, select the lightbox you're interested in via the pull-down menu within the Lightbox Manager (get there by clicking the "Lightboxes" link at the top navigational area of any page on our Web site).

Then, under the thumbnail of the image you wish to remove, click on the lightbox icon.

ADDING COMMENTS TO A LIGHTBOX  back to top

Within the Lightbox Manager you can add comments for yourself and those with whom you share the lightbox!

To do so, click on the "Comments" link at the top of the Lightbox Manager page. Type what you'd like and click the "Save Comments" button. Voila! Your comments will now appear any time you click on the "Comments" link for that lightbox.

DELETING A LIGHTBOX  back to top

Select the lightbox you'd like to remove. Then, once the lightbox has loaded, click the "Delete" link at the top of the page.

RENAMING A LIGHTBOX  back to top

Select the lightbox you'd like to rename. Then, click the "Rename" link at the top of the page, enter the new name in the text box, and click the "rename lightbox" button.

SHARING A LIGHTBOX  back to top

You can email your lightbox to colleagues and clients! Select the lightbox you'd like to share. Then, click the "Share" link at the top of the page and enter the email address(es) of the intended recipients, an optional message and click the "rename lightbox" button. This will send an email with a link to your lightbox.

COPYING A LIGHTBOX  back to top

Within the Lightbox Manager, select the lightbox you'd like to copy. Then, click the "Copy" link and choose whether you want to copy the images into another lightbox you've already created or into a new lightbox.
